What’s a natural mix?
Google doesn’t publish target percentages. Naturally earned links tend to use your brand name and URL most often, because that’s how people refer to a business. A profile dominated by exact match keyword anchors often suggests links were bought or arranged, which goes against Google’s spam policies.
Where to get your anchors
- Google Search Console: Links, then Top linking text, then Export.
- Backlink tools: most show anchors with link counts.
Paste each anchor on its own line, followed by a comma and the number of links if you have it.
