The income option

Instead of showing savings, you can show that your parents or partner earned at least AUD 87,856 in the 12 months before you apply, or AUD 102,500 if family members are coming with you.

Example

A student with AUD 38,000 of first-year fees, AUD 10,000 already paid, applying from India: 29,710 + 28,000 + 2,000 = AUD 59,710.

Depending on your nationality and education provider, you may not need to show financial evidence with your application, but you must still have the money. Use the Home Affairs Document Checklist Tool to check.
