Paste a job advert and your CV to see which keywords and skills you already cover and which ones are missing.
Loading the tool…
How it works
- The tool picks out the most important words and two-word phrases in the job description, ignoring filler words.
- It checks which of them appear in your CV.
- You get a match score and a list of missing terms.
Using the results
- Only add what’s true. Recruiters will ask about it in the interview.
- Use the same words as the advert. “Stakeholder management”, not “working with people”.
- Spell out tools and acronyms. “Google Analytics 4 (GA4)”.
- Put skills in context. “Managed £15,000 monthly Google Ads budget” beats a bare list.
What is a good match score?
There’s no magic number, but if you’re under about 50%, the CV probably isn’t tailored enough to the role. Aim to cover the hard skills and tools the advert repeats most.
