Combine several PDFs into a single file, in any order. Unlike most online PDF tools, this one runs entirely in your browser, so contracts, payslips and ID documents are never uploaded to anyone’s server.
Loading the tool…
How to use it
- Choose two or more PDF files. You can add more in several goes.
- Use ↑ to reorder and Remove to drop a file.
- Click Merge PDFs and download the result.
When it’s useful
- Visa and job applications that accept one upload: passport scan, payslips and bank statements in the order the checklist lists them.
- Expense claims: receipts and the claim form in one file.
- Contracts: the signed signature page added back to the main document.
Many application portals cap uploads at 2–10 MB. If your merged file is too big, compress scanned images first with the image compressor before turning them into a PDF with JPG to PDF.
Limits
- Password-protected PDFs need unlocking in a PDF reader first.
- Form fields and bookmarks may not carry over; the visible pages always do.
- Very large files (hundreds of pages) depend on your device’s memory; split the job if your browser slows down.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Merging happens in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library, so files stay on your device.
Is there a file limit?
No fixed limit. Practical limits depend on your device’s memory.
Can I change the page order inside a file?
Split it first with the PDF splitter, then merge the parts in the order you want.
